I'm sad but relieved.

While I was pretty certain it would end this season, I was worried that Wells may try to do an ER. For me this show has always been about Bartlet and Leo, CJ and Toby, Josh and Sam, Donna, Charlie, Abbey...and everyone else. It was about the Bartlet administration, not the office of President. I went in expecting it to end with them leaving office. And I'm relieved it has lived it's natural life cycle.

While it hasn't been the same show for me the past few years, I haven't been able to let go. And I don't know what I'm going to do knowing that Allison won't be on tv each week.

What I'm sadder about is the probable death of what little remains of the fandom, or at least my little corner of it. My time online has already diminished incredibly, and there's so little commonality left.

I will really miss the show, but I have missed the West Wing that I loved for some time now. I watch the old episodes on Bravo, and it only makes it worse. Losing John Spencer was huge blow for me. I adored the character of Leo.

I haven't participated in the TWW fandom, but I remember being really sad when the B5 lists started dying, or wandered so far off topic the show was rarely discussed.

Agreed. Which has lessened the blow.

I just haven't been without a real fandom for 10 years. And while there's shows I love, there's nothing that I'm feeling an urge to get involved in. Plus I think I'm tired of the nonsense that goes on in fandom.
