Name your 10 absolutely favorite couples (het/slash/canon/fanon) and ask people to see what trends they notice about your couples. Try to pick different fandoms.
1. Rita/Chris (Silk Stalkings)
2. Ivanova/Marcus (B5)
3. DI Gillian Cramer/Dr. Jonathan Paige (Dangerfield - which I want on dvd dammit!)
4. Emily Prentiss/David Rossi (Criminal Minds)
5. CJ/Danny (West Wing)
6. Christy/Neil (Christy)
7. Joe/Allison (Medium)
8. Caroline/Richard (Caroline in the City)
9. Luke/Lorelai (Gilmore Girls)
10. Pepper/Bill Crowley (Police Woman)
I could continue on...Flack/Stella (CSI:NY), Mike/Connie (L&O), Nigel/Kate (Crossing Jordan), Scully/Skinner (X Files), House/Cuddy, Tony/Carol (Wire in the Blood), Willow/Tara (Buffy), Violet/Cooper (Private Practice), Devon/Danziger (Earth 2), Hitchcock/Ford (SeaQuest), Maxine/Littleton (Picket Fences), Brenda/Fritz (The Closer)...
I'm just realising what a shipper I am...

Aug. 14th, 2006 12:56 amWas a glorious winter day today. Sunny, 20C (68F). Sister and I went for a walk up the road, I only needed track pants, tshirt and thongs. Lovely in the sun.
Participated in the democratic process tonight. Emailed five Senators. Don't know whether they actually read them, but I made a point to have my say.
Lady Heather on CSI tonight. And Liz Olivet on L&O:CI (not yet watched). Two of my favourite ladies.

Go here and look through random quotes until you find 5 that you think reflect who you are or what you believe. Repost in your journal and tag 5 friends.
Just think of the tragedy of teaching children not to doubt.
Clarence Darrow (1857 - 1938)
You're not to be so blind with patriotism that you can't face reality. Wrong is wrong, no matter who does it or says it.
Malcolm X (1925 - 1965)
I'll be more enthusiastic about encouraging thinking outside the box when there's evidence of any thinking going on inside it.
Terry Pratchett
The best thing to give to your enemy is forgiveness; to an opponent, tolerance; to a friend, your heart; to your child, a good example; to a father, deference; to your mother, conduct that will make her proud of you; to yourself, respect; to all men, charity.
Francis Maitland Balfour
Isn't it interesting that the same people who laugh at science fiction listen to weather forecasts and economists?
Kelvin Throop III
I did adore this one

The only thing that scares me more than space aliens is the idea that there aren't any space aliens. We can't be the best that creation has to offer. I pray we're not all there is. If so, we're in big trouble.
-Ellen DeGeneres
And for the writers among us:
Writing gives you the illusion of control, and then you realize it's just an illusion, that people are going to bring their own stuff into it.

Jul. 9th, 2006 03:06 pmFrom quite a few people...and in my case the seen every episode of it means what's been screened here in Oz. And I've added the L&Os. And I could add too many other shows...
Bold all of the following TV shows which you've ever seen 3 or more episodes of in your lifetime. Bold and Italicize a show if you're positive you've seen every episode of it. If you want, add up to 3 additional shows (keep the list in alphabetical order).
( too many shows )
