Jan. 23rd, 2007 01:49 pmIt's very difficult to move with your lower back taped up...I got in the bath last night and couldn't work out how to sit down, and then couldn't work out how to wash my feet. Taking the tape off before my bath tonight, I missed my soak :( Sleeping was also uncomfortable.
The physio on Thursday actually caused problems rather than fixing my hips. Never had a problem with the aggressive treatments before, but maybe because of the house cleaning and awkward positions things were slightly different this time. The treatment caused muscles in my lower abdomen to spasm (wondered why I was getting these weird twinges around my appendix scar over the weekend) as they tried to support the hip. So he worked on loosening those yesterday, and the tape is supporting me and giving them a rest. Go back Thursday for more work on them and I assume to redo my hips.
My body really needs to be sent back to the manufacturer for a refund.
