krazykitkat: (inadequate (Lynette - DH))
Apart from [livejournal.com profile] athena4lynn, has anyone written their [livejournal.com profile] wingswing? Everyone seems to have nothing, I wonder whether it's because most of us have drifted away from the show, and of course with the quantity of our writing decreasing incredibly in the last year or two.

I've got a few sentences, absolutely crappy and it's CJ/Andy, but I can kinda see how it could be CJ/Mallory too. But even if I managed to do more, haven't got the time to finish it.

Thank you, [livejournal.com profile] docfraiser8, for the postcard. Such a cute kitty! I love.

One thing I have learnt over this break from work...my tiredness doesn't really have much to do with how much sleep I get. The last 5 nights I've had 8-9 hours sleep each night, I still feel tired. Back to work tomorrow.

One advantage of non-ratings, we're making a miniscule hole in the dvds that have taken over the dining table. Watched White Oleander, The Cutting Edge, and Tim Burton's The Corpse Bride. Enjoyed them all.

Why oh why - each time I try to get the CJ/Mallory started, it turns into CJ/Andy.

Reading the Babylon 5 script books, I still get teary whenever Rick Biggs is mentioned.

I want fanfic that nobody seems to write. Hitchcock/Ford (seaQuest DSV - there has to have been hot sweaty sex after they rebuilt the Gazelle), Ziva/Gibbs (NCIS - such sparkage, even my mother saw it).

Finished watching my seaQuest DSV dvds. Such Great Patience and Nothing But The Truth (with the added bonus of some gorgeous shots of Stacy Haiduk) are my favourite eps. And I got the giggles everytime I saw Sean Potter (Judging Amy - and do I reveal my embarrassing desire for Sean/Maxine?) with long hair.

wingswing ain't happening. got nothing.

So so tired. Had a rotten night Sunday, probably about 4 hours sleep with not being able to find a comfortable position, plus cramps (have never had cramps during the night before). When I got home from work yesterday I was walking like I was drunk. Slept better last night, but not enough.

Rheumatologist today, dad ended up driving us down there because I wasn't up to taking the train. Shaky and dizzy, and my legs jelly-like. Having another blood test to see how my iron levels are since I've gone off the iron (even 10ml once per week of liquid iron is proving to be problematic for my bowel (the bottle recommends 15-30ml per day)). If there's still problems he may put me on a course of intra-muscular iron injections (eeekkk! an injection in my bum about every 2 days for a fortnight!). Got scripts for all my winter medications (blood pressure tablets and patch, ointment and antibiotics in case of infections (particularly around and under my nails), had enough Prednisone already), so am prepared. I asked him when he wanted to see me next and he said "3 days before the chilblains appear" ;) He settled for end of May, the problems tend to start around that time.

And he said that the MRI of my hand is still talked about at Royal North Shore Hospital (the one that showed that I have virtually no circulation in the fingers of my right hand). I've never actually seen it :(, but he said it looks like the blood vessels have been pruned. Mum asked whether they wanted me to autograph it.

Got wingswing assignment...probably a good character compared to most, but I have no bloody idea how to do it. Have never written her and don't particularly like her.

And Donna doesn't love me anymore...

I signed up for Wingswing *shudder*

I reserve the right to drop out if I get too stressed. And I went for the easy with CJ, and left a few characters out (as well as seasons 5-7). But I left Donna in...just had to see whether she's still stalking me.

Today was weird. Apart from recovering from a cold, and stomach/bowel problems from the damn iron supplement, I was having trouble walking all afternoon. My legs were like jelly.

And I know I'm procrastinating...which is probably a sign in itself.

I'm kicking Commander in Chief. I watched the first 15 minutes of the third episode on Thursday, and can't be bothered watching the rest. And while I'm glad to see Ron Butterfield getting more work, it felt so wrong.

I'm snuffly.

And I still can't decide on Wingswing...maybe that means I shouldn't? Plus the only two I would put in are CJ and Carol, both of whom I've done before. So is there even any point? Can someone make up my mind for me?

I've been reading other people's commentaries, and this is kindergarten in comparison. I can't analyse anything to save my life, I'll never be accused of being deep and meaningful, and I wouldn't know a literary device or convention if I tripped over one. Most of the time I'm not really thinking about why I'm writing what I'm writing. It just happens. I'm sorry I couldn't produce something interesting or illuminating.
