I think I may have a virus or something at the moment. Since Sunday I've been a bit off balance (we were down the shops on Sunday and we went around a corner and my body kept going sideways) and been hot on and off. Mum's feeling that way too. And today I started feeling sick just before I got to work (proper nausea, not my anxiety type). Went in, spent the first about 2 hours struggling, trying not to talk unless necessary (you know when you're feeling like throwing up and you just try to keep your mouth closed). I was hot and literally shaking. Forced myself to eat a sao biscuit and felt a bit better after that. Managed to last my shift, but still the hot on and off and the balance. And tired. But I'm proud that I stuck it out (I so nearly bailed a couple of times), and I managed not to work myself into a panic attack.
And liquid iron is disgusting.

OMG!!
They'd better bloody well release the rest! I'm pretty sure I've got all the eps on tape (including the unaired in the US), but I so want on dvd. Just a brilliant series, and the most amazing use of music (they got me at the start of the first episode using Loreena McKennitt (iirc...)).

I already love Harve Presnell, but after listening to the Pretender commentary...Andrea said he still leaves her phone messages, and starts with, "Angel, it's Daddy." How adoreable!

Universal has just announced what appears to be a new brand for their TV product - Brilliant But Cancelled. Their first title sure fits the bill - the critically acclaimed series, EZ Streets. The series was named the Television Critics Association "Program of the Year" in 1997, despite airing just 9 of the 10 episodes created, with 6 of those being burned off in the spring.
The series starred Ken Olin as Det. Cameron Quinn, Debrah Farentino (Theresa Conners), John Finn (Captain Geary), Jason Gedrick (Danny Rooney), and Joe Pantoliano (Jimmy Murtha). This series, created by Oscar-nominated director Paul Haggis, is a gritty look at crime, and the cop that wants to put an end to it.
Universal has plans to release a single disc containing 3 hours, 2 minutes of material on May 16. We can only assume that this will be the double-length pilot, and 2 episodes which followed. Universal has priced the set at a very reasonable price - $19.98.
