krazykitkatWent up the hospital to see mum (as a sidebar--gorgeous view of the city from the top floor of the SAN).
She was dozing when we got there, we stayed for about an hour. She's feeling okay still, any pain is probably being dampened by drugs. But she said you don't get any information. She's not sure when she'll be next seeing the doctor, when she'll be able to drink or eat, but they're very good at taking your blood pressure/temp every half hour.
She threatened the surgeon and the anaesthesiologist that she'd come back and haunt them (she always does ;)). She said the anaesthesiologist worried a little with his yawning and talking about how he kept misplacing his swipe cards. Last night she said she hoped the surgeon was a morning person.
One of the nurses commented about mum's name, Dianne, and said she was Diane. Mum mentioned that she had to get used to it because she is known by her middle name, Kay. The nurse asked whether it was spelt with an e, mum said no, a y. The nurse's name is Diane Kaye. Very weird!
