krazykitkatYeah, we're way behind, and I've seen more of the second half of 5th season and 6th season than the start of 5th season.
But thought I'd post the email I sent to twwoz about
I've actually had the tape of this for a year and tonight's the first time I've watched it. Don't feel I missed much by waiting.
Overall good, especially for a first attempt.
However, I'd like to shoot whoever decided the cinematography/direction in the teaser. That stupid stupid fast zoom and then the round about camera which was worse than Indians in the Lobby. Tommy Schlamme's overseeing eye is going to be missed.
To my ears, the political-based dialogue was by far the best. Out of the main characters, Josh sounded a little off to me at times.
Cringed at the my little girl is a case number. That wasn't Jed, no matter how emotional he was. Abbey sounded off to me at times too.
I liked that Ellie was the one to comfort him. Elizabeth seems to be her mother's daughter.
Yay CJ for telling Danny to run it.

Carol's questioning whether Walken was moulting made me smile. Followed quickly by a large eye roll.
Now someone kill the shaky camera. This isn't ER.
And the blue/red lighting on Jed and Leo - urgh.
The montage was pretty good. Though for some reason the bits with Josh and Donna annoyed me.
Actually Tommy's absence annoyed me more tonight than Aaron's.
And the bit that hurt most? The Executive Producer title at the end.
