Sometimes when you're on long term medication for something and it keeps the something under pretty good control, you wonder whether maybe the something has gone away.
Ran out of my arthritis medication and forgot to get some yesterday, so went without. I'm really hurting, both hands especially.
Just had one of my tablets, will have another tonight.
I want to stop hurting.

:::big big big big giant hugs:::

*passes over a bottle of Advil*

It won't help much, but...

:::big hug again:::

Thank you, Hon.
I'd forgotten how much it does hurt.
They're a bit better, the Mobic seems to be starting to work.

Oh, I can only begin to imagine how much you're hurting right now -- I got up and mine's the worst it's been all winter so far, and I just wanna die because it hurts to move any part of me that has joints. :-(

Wish there was better medication you could take :(
Many hugs.

Mine are better this morning, still not back to normal and feel a little like I've been hit by a truck, but not hurting anywhere near as much.

*huggles* I hope your hands feel better. I know how much Arthritis hurts. May Danny kiss you hands and give them a massage.

Oh, wouldn't that be lovely :)
THank you. The drug seems to be kicking in a bit. Maybe it helps to be reminded every so often how much it does hurt.

I didn't know they had drugs other then Advil for arthritis. I think my doctor and I are going to have a lovely chat.

And I'm glad they're kicking in. I was having trouble figuring out how to get Danny over to you. It's a little to far to mail.

Lots of arthritis drugs. Celebrex is one of the newer ones, was on that for a while and now I'm on Mobic (Meloxicam), both nonsteroidal anti-inflammatories. I take them everyday.
Definitely been reminded what a difference they do make.

Might have trouble getting Danny through customs and quarantine...though my brother works out the international mail centre for quarantine, so he may have been able to sneak him through ;)

I've been on celebrex before when I ripped all the ligiments in my shoulder - it works wonders.

I don't think I'd get him out of the US. They make us fill out custom papers to mail letters to Canada now. Hmm...there has to be another way to get him there.

Talk to your doctor.
My rheumatologist was most insistent on finding the right medication. Helps prevent further damage too.

How is he at swimming? Though that might take a little too long.

Well...we do call him fishboy. *nods* So I'm hoping he's pretty good at swimming. You know, we're overlooking the obvious. He's a reporter...we should just tell him there's a story over there. *nods*

And this story is quite happy to be uncovered...
