Some better news. Saw rheumatologist today. I'm not anaemic.
Iron levels aren't great (thankfully aren't much lower than mid last year when he was concerned), but not low enough to justify hospital for an infusion. And the idea of intramuscular injections has me running in the opposite direction. There wasn't much of a difference in my fatigue levels from when I was seriously anaemic to when my iron levels were reasonable.
He's happy with my hands, circulation in my feet is sluggish. Still nothing he can do about the fatigue. He gave me 3 months supply of my anti-inflammatories from his magic drawer.
See him again in mid-April. By which time the humidity should be over, it flares the arthritis. But then we have to start watching my circulation.
