The low stayed further off shore than forecast and by late last night they'd downgraded the winds from gusts of 125 km/h to 90 km/h. Just looking at readings, highest in Sydney seems to have been only 70-80 km/h.

Which is much relief, as the ground is so wet trees would've been going down everywhere otherwise. There are some localised blackouts, damage, roads flooded, but not as bad as the last two storms.

Main problem seems to be road closures up the Blue Mountains (western outskirts of Sydney) due to black ice and snow. Here's the lovely scene at Katoomba train station last night (from SMH).

The low is continuing to move offshore, heading towards New Zealand. Hopefully we'll have a chance to dry out now. They're still expecting large seas and beach erosion for the next few days.
