Watched new season premiere of Crossing Jordan.

Much prefer Jill with the darker hair. Lily was carrying around one bloody HUGE file ;) I laughed. I wonder whether Roxann Dawson was having fun directing it since she knows all the tricks. From what I can work out, Kathryn Hahn was probably around 6 months pregnant at the time. And Roxann is now a producer! Beautiful use of Sarah McLachlan at the end.

9 news can't spell. Apparently Berwora had 45mm of rain yesterday. It's Ber*owra*. We were confused and then amused. Guess shouldn't complain too much, most of the locals can't pronounce it growing up, we drop the second r.

Was quite a storm, actually two. Mum and I had been down to Chatswood to see my rheumatologist and when we got off the train at Hornsby on the way home it was looking very threatening and starting to spit. Went to Medicare to get my money back (a little annoyed that I get back more on my counselling than my specialist), and the thunder and lightening and torrential rain started. Decided to stay down there until it calmed down. About 45 minutes later it was still raining. Called my sister and as we were waiting for her it got harder and harder. Luckily it stopped before she arrived. Then another storm about an hour later. The fuse at my sister-in-law's blew and our neighbour across the road who's an electrician went around and fixed it.

Been horribly humid, yesterday was low 30s (around 90F) and probably 70-80% humidity with no wind. Today was more high 20s (low 80Fs), but still that humidity. There was like a haze, looked like bushfire smoke, but I'm wondering if it was just the humidity in the air. It's unbearable.

I have a song in my head, and I missed what it was called and I want to know. But I can't quite make out the words, he's mumbling. I think it's from the 1970s and it seems to be a narrative (something about the children come down for tea) and I've always liked it but can never remember its name. So annoying.

Ugh. Yeah, it's been the same up here (Bris) as well. Except we DID have the smoke (from where, we can't figure out) so the humidity & heat + smell is revolting. I'm hoping showers/cooler change on the weekend will help!!

The stuff with Lily, and sticking her behind machinery was pretty hysterical. I laughed out loud too. And I'm enjoying this season a lot, so far - and sounds like you're not too far behind me!!

Yeah, we're not far behind at all. Just watched the second episode...and they pretty much shot Lily from neck up, except for when hiding her behind boxes. Wasn't as funny ;)
