Do not buy Magnavox tvs.

We bought two 66cm wide/flatscreen tvs from KMart...took some running around to get them since the store didn't have any. Got them today, set them up...one died within an hour - picture got darker and then disappeared with accompanying electrical smell. An hour or so later, the other died.

Taking them back tomorrow, demanding refund. Will be lodging a complaint with Magnavox, and also with Coles Myer asking why they stock such shit. I found a post on usenet which said they have a return rate of about 50%.
