krazykitkatI just don't get New Years. It's just another night and it's not as though something miraculous is going to occur because we start a new year. Everything will be the same tomorrow.
And, yes, I'm a killjoy, but personally I think the amount spent on fireworks is ridiculous. It's essentially just burning money.

Date: 2006-12-31 05:07 pm (UTC)For me, it's the booze. lol. People go out and buy soooo much booze and overindulge and I've been there and pretty much hated myself for it afterwards. And this year, I've been kind of made fun of for not going to a huge boozefest, by my friends from home. *shakes head* Oh well. I'm going to have a good time watching movies tonight :)
