They had an article about Jodi Picoult in the Herald. Anyone read her books/recommend her?

Anyone read/recommend Jane Fonda's autobiography?

I've read four Jodi Picoult books, and loved all of them. There's a definite theme running through her novels - they all deal with legal cases, but from a more personal/character-driven point of view than a lot of legal novel do. The characters are definitely more important than the crime they may or may not have committed. And she writes nice human lawyers too :)

I would definitely recommend her. My favourite of the four I've read was probably 'Plain Truths', although it's hard to say. I enjoyed them all. If you decide to read any of them I hope you enjoy them!

I've read a lot of Jodi Picoult. I like her to a point - the first I read was Plain Truth and really enjoyed that, and it made me hunt for some of her other things. However, there's a point beyond that where she becomes repetitive and dull, I think. Or maybe too outlandish. I don't know. There have been some I've liked and some I've hated. That said, she's hugely popular at the bookstore where I worked, and bookclubs love reading her. :)
