special delivery

Late this afternoon (Tuesday) in Melbourne, my cousin gave birth by c-section to a baby boy, Logan James. He's not quite 3 pounds, which seems to be pretty good for ~29 weeks (would've been big if he went full term), and he's breathing on his own. My aunt talked to her this morning and she was feeling sick, and my aunt thought it might be time.

I'm guessing he's not out of the woods yet, and there's going to be many more prayers and crossing fingers, but it's a good start.
