krazykitkatWatching my season 2 Gilmore Girls dvds...and damn those two scenes between Lorelai and Emily in Hammers and Veils make me cry.
Both hurting so much, Lorelai because of her mother's response to the wedding news, and Emily because everyone knew before she did. Such a brilliant emotional and real scene, especially when Emily is breaking down. And then at the end with Lorelai trying to make amends with the veils and Emily meeting her halfway.
The thing I adore about the portrayal of their relationship is that you can see both sides, and both are right and both are wrong, and at times you just want to thump one or both.
Worked today from 10am-2pm. And our electronic passcards wouldn't allow us into the offices. So we had to wait and catch other weird Sunday working people so they could let us in.
But it was worth it, nearly $140.
