Feb. 14th, 2011 01:51 amTried my very best to break my toe today. Kicked it on the chair wheel. There was crying and bleeding, looks like the nail pushed back and partly lifted on one corner. Looked pretty swollen initially which freaked me a bit, and ice is a no-no. But more normal now.
Aching on and off, hurts a bit to walk. Though strangely it's more in the area of the foot where the toe joins rather than the toe itself. I guess the toe got pushed back into that area, it's probably stirred up the arthritis too. Plus I'm a little hypersensitive to pain.
I'll have to monitor it over the next while to make sure the broken skin is healing okay and nothing icky develops. Thankfully it's not winter.
Also jarred my back which really didn't need.
