krazykitkat: (undercover scientists)
Was watching Catalyst and was thrilled to see that Dr Paul Beggs has been nominated for the Australian Museum Eureka People's Choice Award. His research examines how increased levels of carbon dioxide caused by climate change can increase the allergic nature of foods such as peanuts.

Paul is one of the lecturers in atmospheric science at Macquarie Uni, and I did quite a bit of assignment marking for him. He's a lovely bloke, and had a major health battle a couple of years ago. Happy to see that he's looking good.
