My sister and I saw him at a con in Sydney early last year. He was a funny man. And that's when I realised he was in the John West ad.
In the autograph line I was able to ask him a few questions about X Files and West Wing. He said that they'd had no idea at the time what a huge thing X Files would become, and he said Gillian was a sweetheart. He also said that he was really happy to be able to work on West Wing, and spent time with John Spencer. It was obvious listening to him talk that he thought a lot of John.
