Still deep in the woods
Jan. 10th, 2008 12:00 amThought we were going to lose Sniffles today.
Little bugger was all fluffy and sleepy and barely moving around for most of the day. Dad said when he gave him the antibiotics this morning his heart was beating so fast and then it seemed to stop and dad thought he'd gone.
I was home alone with him for most of the day and had a few crying spells.
Then when mum and dad got home not long before 6pm, Sniffles seemed to buck up and started whistling and running around and eating. Tonight he did some crazy flapping.
I don't know what to think. I called the vet to find out how long we needed to give him the antibiotics for, I mentioned that he was doing better until today. Was told to stop giving it to him two days after he's back to normal (that's a little open to interpretation), and that if he went downhill they'd have to refer us to a north shore vet. That won't be happening, can't afford it.
Please, please, please, be okay.
