Sep. 24th, 2005 05:49 pmThe Swans did it! 58 to 54 against the West Coast Eagles. They could be a little more consistent though ;)

Went to work yesterday. Still a bit of a headache on and off, and tired and a little flushed. But overall much better. And I missed my workmates.

Dad took Eddie to the pet shop yesterday morning. And she made me feel bad because she was good when dad got her out of the cage. And she was acting all Miss Innocent, allowed the pet shop owner to pat her as Eddie burrowed into her hand. The pet shop owner said, "What a nice little tame budgie." And at work I was thinking, "But Eddie hasn't got a swing to sleep on tonight."
Though as my sister said, all the other budgies in the cage might be dead on Monday.
I know it was the only thing to do, we've tried to improve her behaviour, and CJ and the babies don't deserve the nonsense. I'm still a little sad and feeling guilty.

Woodstock's going through his first moult, so he's about 12 weeks old. I'm estimating Snoopy and Danny are about 6-8 weeks.
The little brats wouldn't go to sleep last night, they were still calling at midnight. The beach towels aren't long enough so we're only covering the top half of the cage...they'd wandered down to the bottom half. Mum and I managed to chase them back up to the top perches and then they were quiet (like kids at a sleep over).
They've learnt some interesting calls from the other parrots at the pet shop, particularly the cockatiel that was in the cage next to them.
