His body lay slumped across the front row of pressroom
seats.
"Danny." She shook his shoulder but no reaction. Kneeling
next to him, she placed the palm of her hand on his cheek.
"Wake up, Danny."
"Wha--" He shifted and nearly rolled off.
"Careful." CJ used her body to brace him. "You need to go
home."
"Too far," he mumbled into her neck, his arms winding around
her. "Too tired."
She needed to get away from him before her tingles forced her
to do something that wasn't allowed. But she couldn't just
leave him here. "How about my couch?"
