I love Judging Amy. And I adore and worship Maxine (and hence Tyne).
And yes,
mandysbitch, tissues were needed last night. And at the end of the episode when Amy finally cried in Bruce's arms, my sister said, "Why don't they realise they're made for each other?"

Watched Jefferson Lives again tonight.
And maybe it's just me and my family, but quite a bit of the dialogue, especially at the start, was incomprehensible.
They've always talked fast, but there was a rhythm to the dialogue and somehow it made it understandable (most of the time). Now there's whole paragraphs of "blah blah blah" like the adults in Peanuts.
And I'm going to give up, for now, watching it while it's on and then again with the family later. I just find more things that annoy me.
I'm feeling very adrift in fandom. TWW fanfic has lost its community, there are other little communities or new fandoms that I'm not a part of (and for the first time in 8 years I haven't got a new fandom to move onto). I'm just back to my natural state of being on the outside peering in. But somehow it's lonelier than ever.
And yes, I have friends here, but they have busy lives which I don't want to interrupt.

Tyne Daly. What a performance.
And the Amy/Bruce scene just blew me away. Such a simple thing and it said everything.

Just how as soon as she saw him she broke down. And the look on Stu's face.

Heh -- when this was re-aired on Bravo a couple months ago, I posted the exact same thing. It's definitely not just you. :D

Date: 2004-12-31 02:51 pm (UTC)Really terrible. Having them talk fast doesn't make it WW.

Date: 2004-12-31 12:15 am (UTC)You can interrupt my life anytime you want. I know I'm busy with work, and BtO, and well, sleeping when you're awake - but it doesn't matter.
*hugs*
