A big woohoo to the Democrats National Executive for not rewarding Brutus...ah, Aden.
The behaviour of the Gang of 4 has been reprehensible and today they're still at it, saying that the appointment of Greig was embarrassing and not what the members wanted.
From all indications and the fact that Natasha had been elected by something like 70% of the membership twice, the National Executive did exactly what the members wanted.
I quite like the look of Greig, but still harbour a secret desire to see Bartlett as leader of the Democrats

I'm thinking of pinning the cover of Thursday's Australian to my wall. It says, in a bold headline, "Ridgeway to Lead Democrats". Ha ha ha!! That was true for like - half a day or something...

I was just amazed at the way he and Cherry were carrying on today. That's really the way to appeal to the rank and file membership.
Maybe they need to split into two parties, the Right and the Left...Johnny's Dems and the Green Dems?
I hang my head in shame...I voted for Brutus when he first got in...but I helped get the Green Senator in last year.

Well, I just rambled on that exact same subject for about a page so I won't repeat myself but it's been an interesting week in politics and I am definitely looking forward to Insiders tomorrow. Be interesting to see what the journalists have to say in the discussion.
