Probably no one will understand this.
But I so want Dangerfield fanfic with Jonathan and Gillian. Should find my tapes. Wish they'd put it out on dvd.
And the last episode is the reason I vowed never to be unspoiled again. Hurt too much.

I only saw the last 2 seasons...well I actually came in at the end of the 5th season and fell in love with Gillian and the UST...then watched the last season religiously. Managed to get most of 5th season on tape when it was replayed, and got all of 6th.
But the ending gutted me. I felt like I got hit by a bus. Hence my vow to know spoilers to blunt the blow.

I loved Jane Gurnett in that and it's the first time I've ever really liked Nigel Havers. I've never seen hide nor hair of it since, the 'other' Dangerfield was more popular. Ha bleedin Ha.

I did a search on the net yesterday and apparently Nigel Havers quit and they didn't want to recast a third time so it was axed.
