3. I second gossipcom's observation that it's true of all fandoms. I've almost stopped reading in two OTHER fandoms for the same reason.

Omg - I just checked wwff - someone is treating it like a chatroom. I am SO glad I don't receive individual e-mails from that list because I would be seriously ticked to get messages like "couldn't sleep."
