Spent a little too much money today, so I'm restricting myself until I finish the flood work.
Some cheap dvds, and the dvds of the three series of Yes, Minister (and damn I want them to put out Yes, Prime Minister right this minute) and Paulini's cd and Blue Moon - double cd of female jazz vocals put out by SBS. I have way too many compilation cds, particularly in the jazz and blues girls area.
Hurts like hell when I knock my fingers even the slightest bit. And the index and middle finger on my right hand are usually so swollen. Not sure whether it's got to do with the circulation, looks like fluid retention...the blood can't get up there and the fluid can't get out :\
Seeing my rheumatologist this arvo. At least so far I've been able to avoid the nitrate patches and blood pressure tablets. And the chilblains are definitely better than a month ago, though they seem to be starting again. Should bathe in the cream I've been using.
And
tangleofthorns, I'm hating you...the Abbey line request has become an Abbey/Jed scene and I don't think I've actually ever written interaction between them before. And I so wanted it to be good for you.
And I'm so in need of some new smutty goodness...

Date: 2004-07-26 12:00 pm (UTC)As for the story/drabble/ficlet. I've got a couple of scary ones waiting for me too - but come on, I know you love a challenge. I have confidence in your Abbey/Jed... :-)
*giggles and hides pompoms* Did you miss me? ;)

C.J. had never seen Toby in such a state. He was allowed to nap in his office, but this seemed to be more than a nap. Toby sat on his sofa with his head thrown, his mouth open and a stereotypical male grin on his face. C.J. smiled. Toby had been above himself lately, almost insufferable. She edged closer to the door, intending to startle and tease him, and then stopped. Kneeling in front of the sofa, his head bobbing in Toby's lap, was Sam Seaborn.
C.J. closed the door and retreated to her own office before she collapsed, laughing.
