krazykitkat: (bite me (10 things I hate about you))

Why, oh why, out of all the possible side effects of Prednisone, does it have to make me hot and anxious. Obviously my normal heat and anxiety isn't challenging enough.

I wear summery clothes in mid-winter (I get all sorts of funny looks and "aren't you cold?" bugs the hell out of me). The only place I wear winter clothes is at home because we don't keep the house over-warm and we've got fresh air flow. And it's not helping that the weather is rather warm for winter at the moment (2 weeks ago we made it to ~25C (77F), today's supposed to be 23C (73F)). Basically my internal thermostat is broken and I run hot. Which causes more problems since I have the circulation issues and am supposed to keep my feet and hands warm.

So the Prednisone making me hot is really more than a bit too much.

And it's also ramped up my anxiety. Another great help. By the end of work on Wednesday I was so close to tears for no reason. And my heart feels like it's racing.

Wasn't as bad yesterday, so I'm hoping that it will settle down, or at least start to taper off when I cut the dosage in a week.

And I'm going to have to be really careful not to mix up the Prednisone and Baclofen. They're the same size, tiny round white tablets. I might not be able to move if I take 3 muscle relaxants.
