PAULINE HANSON said she would quit politics for good after losing the seat of Beaudesert in the Queensland election yesterday.
The former One Nation leader polled third behind the winner, the Liberal National Party's Aidan McLindon and Labor's Brett McCreadie.
With three-quarters of the vote counted, Ms Hanson had polled 21.7 per cent of the primary vote.
About bloody time! Though I think I'd like it in writing, witnessed by a JP. Now if only she'd disappear completely. I'd be happy if I never have to see or hear of her again.
And YAY, Anna Bligh. First elected female premier in Australia.
