Haven't used that expression in years!
But it's definitely a way to describe the sexiness that is Allison Janney.
See her at the GM Ten Celebrates 75 Years of Film with Celebrity Fashion Show.
Those legs...damn that you can't get larger photos.
Looks like she had fun :)

EBay is an evil evil place, where things won't stop whispering "Buy me" and grab your ankles as you stroll by. How did I resist the siren call for so long?

And I'm getting a dvd player :snoopy dance:

The Hours -

Saw it with my sister on Sunday. Was so looking forward to it and it didn't let me down.

Allison Janney...need to swoon some more over that amazingly talented gorgeous woman. She didn't have a lot of screentime (and so pissed that some of it was cut in the week or two between press previews and the final opening), but she made the most of every second. I could watch her face forever and her hair was so much nicer than a lot of her CJ hair. And that opening shot and the jeans and red jacket and sunglasses...still my beating heart. I join you in the shallowness, [livejournal.com profile] mandysbitch ;) So glad AJ talked them into letting her have Sally. I don't think I can quite imagine her as the flower seller...though I'm sure she would have pulled it off beautifully.

And why the hell wasn't Meryl nominated? Take Renee out and put Meryl in. I loved Chicago, but Renee was the weakest link.

Nicole was fabulous, I felt that Julianne Moore was the weak link but that may just be because the Laura Brown story was my least favourite in the book and it carried over into the film.
Stephen Dillane (Leonard Woolf) was amazing, he made me cry. Ed Harris also wonderful.
Not how I'd imagined Louis.
As my sister said, Toni Collette looks fabulous in 1950s getup.

I read the book a few months ago and I'm glad I did. Gave me a better appreciation. I'm not as well versed in the book or Virginia Woolf, visit [livejournal.com profile] cappuccinogirl for wonderful ponderings.

Just a few more concrete ponderings so as not to spoil anyone )

Just a beautiful film to look at, so rich in colour. The editing was fabulous, the cuts between the three time periods very well done.

Want to see it again.

Having just seen Chicago I was thinking about more musicals being filmed and thought what about Allison?
She seems to have a reasonable amount of skill in the singing (her low notes on a cd I have make my toes curl) and dancing department, and look what they've done with Renee Zellweger and Nicole Kidman.
Anyone with any suggestions on musical roles you could see her suited for?

"I'm not sure why I, a heterosexual female, am asking this question, but can anybody tell me where I can find a picture and AJ, her outfit, and her nipples?"

I giggled at this comment, but Allison does seem to have that effect.
I adored her Golden Globes outfit. I think it's her smaller breasts which allowed Allison to pull off that open shirt. I can't work out a way to reword that to make it sound less smutty.

Grammar question for those who know much more than I.
'Not that he was complaining. How could he when a beautiful woman was grinding against him.'
Should the second sentence have a question mark? It doesn't look quite right to me with or without.

Was kinda watching Erotic Tales on SBS tonight, well dad was watching it and then my sister burst out laughing, saying, "It's the guy from Law & Order, Goran!"
And so it was! Vincent D'Onofrio (sp?).
Didn't see anything more than his bum, of course saw all of her, she was familiar but they didn't put the cast list at the end.
Claudia Karvan was in one the other week.

"Scrubs" has just started here. And in this week's there was Mrs Landingham and she offered the doctor a lolly and they played "Hallelujah" and I cried.

Glad we get Letterman because got to see the ever adorable and gorgeous Allison Janney. Swoon...drooolllllllll...but she looked like she needed a good sleep.

I love my brother. He's giving me Babylon 5 Legend of the Rangers and Harry Potter videos for Chrissie

I'm sure the one person who will read this won't want to know how worthless and what a waste of space I am.

I'm not sure whether you'll want to read the following either, but I need a diversion and I've enjoyed reading other people's lists.

Seven famous people you'd sleep with -- no strings attached, no questions asked, just one night.

1. Allison Janney (she is a popular girl!)
2. Timothy Busfield (I hear the gagging and groans, but there's just something about him that does it for me...I think it's the eyes, plus I have a thing for redheads)
3. Andrea Parker
4. Sidney Poitier
5. Jodie Foster
6. Yun-Fat Chow
7. Victor Garber
8. Anthony Stewart-Head

Couldn't quite keep it to 7
