My back seems to be okay *fingers crossed* I was pretty relaxed when we got hit, so that may've helped. The car does have to go in for repairs, new bumper bar and the exhaust pipe and possibly other things had been shoved forward.

For the Aussies: Anger sparks the West whinge from The Age. Talks about downloading eps ;)

And rumours about Earth 2 dvds. I can hear [livejournal.com profile] anr squealing ;)

I'm very tired. And the work isn't exciting. But it's a nice work atmosphere and it's lovely to feel useful and to be contributing. And the job is open ended, which is really reassuring. The manager is talking about after the current expansion project, possibly training myself and the other lady who just started in some of her administrative duties. And our lovely manager bought us gelatos today as a welcome :)

Okay, found these on Ebay and they're making me grin like an idiot.
Tim Busfield and Enrique Murciano (Danny - Without a Trace)

*whispering to self* you can't afford them

Ok...I called Nein.
She said she'd add me to the tally of complaints but that they actually haven't taken it off. It should be back in a few weeks.
I'm having a hard time buying it, especially with their hit and run approach at the moment where they seem to be changing the programming each morning.
So continue complaining.

They've dropped West Wing again. Next Tuesday they're showing a double of Third Watch.
I can see their reasoning...all those complaints, we put it back on, and the ratings were lower again! Could that be because a lot of people believed you the week before???

You know, I had this weird inkling on Wednesday that it might've been pulled. On Tuesday night they were advertising Real Crime or whatever it was to be shown Wednesday night at 11pm (was originally scheduled for the Tuesday night). Then it wasn't on Wednesday. My thought was that they were taking West Wing off again and puting it back on instead.
Not quite, but my inkling was right :(

Have now heard from two people who have called Nein and been told that so many people have complained, West Wing will now be continuing!
So watch out for it, Tuesday 11pm.
*fingers crossed*

My prediction that The West Wing has been relegated to a summer series seems to have come true. This week's episode, "Slow News Day", is being advertised as the season finale (I don't know whom 9 is trying to fool).
What the hell else have they got to shove on at 10.30-11pm? There's no Sopranos or 6FU, they're down to the lowest rating Star Trek... And Gilmore Girls is still missing in action.
While most of 5th season really did deserve to be relegated to non-ratings season, I wanted to see 6th season...the way it's going, maybe summer 2006/07 and 2007/08.
Actually, I suspect they'll be out on dvd before 9 finishes screening them.

That scene of CJ on Air Force 1 in the season 5 episode Disaster Relief which was obviously from a previous season (in 10 seconds her hair grew and she changed clothes)? It's from season 3, The Two Bartlets. Was watching it tonight and had an eureka ('an' doesn't sound right to me) moment.

***

Also watching X Files dvds tonight. Oubliette stayed with me from the moment I saw it, and it's still just as good.
I wish KMart would hurry up. Have had season 1 and 2 on raincheck since July.
