(no subject)

Went into KMart today, tried on 4 skirts (for work) and a dress (which fit perfectly), and bought all of them. That's never happened before! Absolutely amazing.

Had some bunny therapy at the pet shop, started patting one, then another would come over. I ended up with 4 of them fighting over me :) One of the bigger rabbits bit me.

Why haven't they released any more of Murphy Brown on dvd? I just finished s1 (released in Feb 2005!), and dammit, I want more now! Get really annoyed when they start releasing a series and then there's a huge gap. Also waiting on season 2 of Picket Fences and Crossing Jordan and St Elsewhere...

Mister Liam is crawling, though strangely with one leg out to the side. And he's walking with the walker. Lara's all, "This way, Liam!" She loves the doll and stroller. Gets a little repetitive for us, doll in stroller, doll out, doll in, repeat... And it's hilarious watching her shake out the doll blankets to straighten them before she puts them over the doll. Though then she shook the doll! And the little bag that goes on the stroller is filled with all sorts of things. She kept trying to cram more in.

This was the sight in Sydney this morning. *coughs and splutters*

Sydney is shrouded in dust this morning. I missed the best from early this morning when it was the orange/red, now it's more a dirty yellow. Dad shut up the house sometime after 7:30 am, but there is dust everywhere. And just as we were finally getting rid of the smell of smoke from the hazard reduction burns on the weekend.

According to the news, Brisbane is now very hazy too. Broken Hill (western NSW) got hit yesterday, at 3pm it was darker than the middle of night, only 2-3 metres visibility.

This is the first time I've seen a dust storm, mum said she's never seen one either.
