Mar. 12th, 2008 12:13 amIf I don't sleep tonight, I'm going to scream. So past dead...
Sunday night was horrible, mixture of uncomfortable period/flooding, the circulation in my feet mucking up so they were red and burning and hot (seems to do it this time of year and is so bloody annoying), and then pulling something in my neck/shoulder area. Had a digesic at 4am, didn't help. By the time my alarm went off at 8.20am, I'd had next to no sleep. Called in sick to work and for once didn't feel guilty about it (I'd stayed at work on Friday when I was feeling very sick and nearly went home so many times). Went back to bed and managed to sleep on and off till after 12.30.
Last night thought I'd drift off within seconds, though had a digesic just in case...hah! Not so much anything in particular, just that I couldn't fall over the edge, or was falling and not staying there long. Didn't get solid sleep until after 5.30am, and then my alarm went off at 8.20am... Had to go to TAFE to do a bookkeeping assessment. My anxiety levels were through the roof, barely made it through breakfast.
Insomnia should be banned from taking up residence in the same area as chronic tiredness. It's just not fair!
