(no subject)

I was supposed to have counseling this afternoon, but I canceled it yesterday. I'm so tired, period always makes me more exhausted plus been sleeping shittily, and really didn't want to go. Just wanted to do nothing.

So came home after Tafe, spent some time on the net, had lunch, and then tried to work out what dvd to watch. Usually I just watch one of my numerous tv shows (Silk Stalkings, XF, ER, Pretender, etc etc), but I felt like watching a movie. Something I had watched before and not too taxing, in case I drifted off. Had an urge for Ever After (happens often), but we have a dining table piled high with dvds that haven't been watched yet, so browsed through a few piles looking for something to catch my fancy.

Found it in City of Angels. Seen it several times and the idea of spending the arvo drooling over Andre Braugher was enticing. He is the most gorgeous man, and somehow surpasses himself in that movie.

But mum has kinda spoilt it, always saying, "watch where you're going, you idiot". It's become a family joke, so my sister (in the next room) and I continued the tradition.

And then, as the credits were rolling, and "Uninvited" was being sung, my sister said, "It would've been more ironic..." and we both laughed at the non-intended pun.

One dvd down, two gazillion to go...
