krazykitkat: (floating (Ever After))
Thanks to someone on my flist who included a link to a post by Alan Sepinwall on the use of music in tv shows, after so many years I finally know the song title and artist used in the opening scene of the EZ Streets pilot.

"Moorlough Shore" by Caroline Lavelle

The use of the song over a scene on the docks (I think there was a dead body) hit me so hard and pulled me into the show. I thought it was one of the most incredible things I'd seen/heard.

Now trying to track down her cds...looks like I'll have to go through either UK Amazon or UK HMV. She has played cello for Loreena McKennitt.

And it won't mean much to most of you, but I need to say that I've worked 5 weeks in a row without missing work. Even though there were a couple of days I was feeling very crappy and it took a lot of effort to hold myself together and stay put. It's a big achievement.
