Apr. 1st, 2005 01:31 amWire in the Blood article, interview with Robson Green. No spoilers, only a very general description of tonight's episode.
This made me giggle:
We start talking about the setting of Wire in the Blood in the fictitious city of Bradfield. The name has to be an invention, he says, because if a real place was used its tourist trade would collapse, thanks to the over-abundance of vicious serial killers. "It's not a place you'd go on your hols, is it?" he jokes. "Imagine the brochure for Bradfield: 'Welcome', and someone holding an axe with blood dripping."
And the SMH also has it as Show of the Week, great opening paragraph:
A third season of Wire in the Blood brings fresh opportunities to stare into Dr Tony Hill's eyes with the stark realisation that he is not returning the viewer's gaze. Instead, he is in playback mode, switched to the remarkable video device that is his mind and that provides instant replay of things he has not seen.
If you don't want to know anything about the episode, best not to read this link.
Really looking forward to it. Seriously considering getting the first 2 series on dvd.
