Website redesign

I've still got a bit to do, changing headings, index page redesign, a number of drabbles to add, set up the 100 Things page...
But I've got the main things working. Stories above 1000 words in 'fic', 'ficlets' between 100 and ~900 words, drabbles and collaboration.

I'm a little embarrassed because so many of you are website wizards and I'm so very basic hmtl it's not funny.

Pretty boy...

Yes, I'm an Australian Idol tragic...

But god...I'm in love with Chanel.
That girl needs a show of her own right now.
'When I Get Low I Get High' for her audition, a song in French, a wonderful group performance where she supported the solo singers by singing the lines so they could get back on track...and as for her reworking of 'Pretty Woman' to 'Pretty Boy'...
Sexy as all damn hell and she didn't need to wear a short skirt to do it like others (oh, Marcia! "Keep your legs together on stage" And Dicko's "You look like Tommy Lee's latest shag" Glad that girl didn't get through, she was a bit over the top).
And just reading her profile and giggled at the motto she lives by: "Only say no if it imperils your immortal soul."
As the judges have said from the start, she is in a class of her own. So she won't win :\

Some really fabulous talent in the top 30.
A definite affection for Ngaiire, she's so tiny! Mark was very mean to her.
Courtney Murphy is good, there's something about Ben Eaton (almost reminds me of Woody from Crossing Jordan), Angie Narayan, Billie McCarthy (as my brother said, she's like something out of the 1940s)...
And Emelia Rusciano...for someone who's only been singing for a couple of months, the natural talent is amazing.

Actually the thing I really love looking at that group is how different all the faces, names, body types, styles are.

Really looking forward to the competition, though I'm probably going to get very pissed off at some point (yay Paulini! Number one single and album!).

I think I've found another side effect from the Prednisone...dizziness. Had a bout yesterday while I was standing, but having it tonight while I'm sitting. I'd rather the full bladder thanks.

Picked up The Essential Mary Chapin Carpenter and Tales of a Librarian - a Tori Amos Collection.
Figured greatest hit type cds would be best at the moment and they were both cheap.
And the security holder Tori was in at KMart was broken and it took the girl about 5 minutes to get it out, breaking the cd case in the process. So got her $5 cheaper.

And KMart had a huge amount off X Files dvds, only $44 per season. So got season 3 and 4. Wish they'd had 1 and 2. I'd put off getting any of the X Files because they're so damn expensive (well over $100).
