I'm a republican, but I'd willingly swap the British royal family for the Danes ;)
I'm a sucker for a wedding, and Mary and Frederik were just so sweet and gorgeous, you can see the love in their eyes when they look at each other.
And when he got teary before she arrived...:sniff:
She looked perfect, so regal, elegant and beautiful. And the gum leaves in the bouquet was a lovely touch.
He's really cute. And I loved how his parents went up to him when they arrived and they all kissed, and his dad looked like he wanted to give him a bear hug.
Though my mother was giggling over the Bishop who performed the ceremony. She reckoned with that frill around his neck he looked like a thanksgiving turkey. Then she said he looked like a Vorlon (Babylon 5 reference), a tiny head on big shoulders.

I hope they have a long happy life together.
And I want to go to Copenhagen, it's like something out of a fairy tale. Gorgeous old buildings.

Just watched my dvd of The Imposters.
Mum and I laughed a lot.
And I just realised that Allison was kissing Nate Fisher, Sr.! Hee! I seem to recall her saying in an interview that she had to record the sex noises at home (over the telephone?) and she was wondering what her neighbours were thinking since she wasn't living with someone named Johnny ;)
And Dana Ivey looks like a younger Maggie Smith.
According to imdb, Kris Murphy (reporter Katie on West Wing) has an uncredited part as The Escort.
Is CJ's love of grasshoppers a homage to this movie?
And I love Tony Shalhoub.
But how did it get a R rating?
Have to dig out my dvd of Big Night and find time to watch it.
