Disclaimer: Wish they were, but they aren't.
She will blink at the bedside clock and remind herself that it'll
take more than one day to reset her body clock.
His side of the bed will be empty and just for a moment she'll
wonder if she imagined it. But her deliciously sore muscles will
confirm the reality.
The promise of sunrise over the ocean will beckon, and she'll pull
on jeans and his Notre Dame sweatshirt; and even though the air
will be brisk, she'll walk barefoot onto the beach.
He'll pull her down onto his lap, his lips nuzzling her neck, and
they'll watch the dawn.
