I know we were very confused by his comment.
From the Sydney Morning Herald:

Star accuses Australia of big screen robbery

By Garry Maddox, Film Reporter

A row over conditions for Hollywood actors working in Australia was sparked yesterday by one of the stars of the Oscar-nominated film Mystic River.

Accepting the best supporting actor prize at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles, Tim Robbins had a shot at Australia for not paying overtime to actors.

"Without unions, we'd be working 18 hours a day, six days a week," he said. "But we get overtime. Except in Australia."

Robbins, who is favoured to win the best supporting actor Oscar next week, also urged actors to help stop Hollywood losing productions overseas.

"There are so many supporting actors . . . that have taken a hit in the last few years because of a lot of runaway productions."

But the national director of the Media Entertainment and Arts Alliance, Simon Whipp, said actors were better off in Australia when it came to overtime.

"Performers are paid overtime in this country," he said.

"It's unfortunate that a performer of his standing is speaking without a full knowledge of the facts. I'm not aware that he has ever worked in Australia."

Mr Whipp added that there was little that Hollywood actors could do to prevent productions leaving for cheaper countries such as Canada, New Zealand, Romania and Australia.

The executive director of the Screen Producers Association of Australia, Geoff Brown, said Robbins was wrong.

"My concern is that he's pushing an agenda to stop production coming out here and spinning fibs in the process."

Hard Ball

Disclaimer: Wish they were, but they aren't.
Author's Note: I thought my writing days were over, but
the muse seems to be back...I hope. Thanks to Rhonda and
soft lite.

Something startled her awake.

*thud*

She forced her legs to walk down the hall to their home
office. A tiny functioning corner of her brain wished
he'd taken up Toby's cigar habit instead.

"Daniel." The doorway frame kept her upright. "Put your
balls down and come to bed."

"I need to finish this." He waved at the computer before
throwing a rubber ball at the wall.

The urge to shove them down his throat was becoming hard
to resist. "I'm PMSing, so unless you--"

He quickly placed the balls in the desk drawer and raised
his hands in surrender.
