A small drawstring bag made out of animal hide lay on
her desk.
"Open it."
Her skin tingled, but she resisted the urge to face him.
"This what I think it is?"
"Just open it. Never know, you might get lucky."
Two marbles. "Very funny."
"I thought so."
A folded slip of paper.
She bit her lip, stomach twisting.
'IOU a week at the Park Hyatt, February 2007. Room
opposite the Sydney Opera House.'
Deep breath. "The view sounds so beautiful, it'd be a
pity not to share it with someone."
"Anyone in particular?"
Turning, she answered with her lips.
