Good news...I think
Sep. 22nd, 2003 03:07 pmGot a letter today from Fairfax newspapers. I've been invited to sit the examination for the journalism traineeship at the NSW general papers.
So I've made it through the first application hurdle. No idea how many they would have cut out at that stage.
But it's an exam, and I loathe exams and would rather write another thesis. And it's this Saturday morning in Sydney CBD. So add in about 50 minutes on the train each way.
Current affairs questions and 2 writing exercises.
Hot today, nearly 34C (93F) at our place. Total fire ban and the official bushfire season doesn't begin till October.
