So, I'm glad CJ's not dead. Danny's quote at the end of the previous part made my stomach tighten.

omg, i'm reading cj/danny, enjoying it, and then she's dead? this is going to be a deathfic? am i going to enjoy a deathfic?

so, yes, I am insane.

Danny still feels like a real character. Toby's little development's interesting -- I'm waiting to see how that works out for him. :-)
