I don't even watch the show, but pleased to see The Sopranos win.

I wish Martin could have won for once, even though season 5 really didn't deserve any wins.

As much as I adore Allison to death, I'm shocked and perplexed. And honestly don't think she should've won it. Though sounds like she was mighty shocked too.

But this season didn't allow her to do her best (she deserved it more in season 4). The only outstanding moments I can think of were in Full Disclosure.

Certainly not Access, which she most certainly shouldn't have won for. Yeah, she carried the episode, but there was nothing in that episode she couldn't have done in her sleep.

There were others in the category who did better. I don't even watch Sopranos, but from the little bits I see, Edie is magnificent and she's given the material. Jennifer Garner carries that show, and I've been impressed with Mariska very much. Haven't seen the other show.

Maybe because they finally gave the show award to Sopranos, they felt like they couldn't have Edie and James dominating the acting categories once more?
