It stands to reason his staff would be like his kids, and they're mostly male. That's just the reality.
I just loathe the whole 'He must want a son' idea. It's so stereotyped, up there with every woman wants a baby. ANd the added problem is that the majority of people who try to write these storylines can't write. Only a very precious few would be able to pull them off.
