Did anyone see the interview on US 60 Minutes with Felicity Huffman? If so, how long was it? They showed it here tonight, but it was only 5 minutes, so I suspect it's been heavily edited (and if anyone has it available to dl?). I love her even more. And I agree with her about resenting the question: is being a mommy (which I consider derogatory when used between adults (and my mum agrees)) the best experience in her life. As she said, it puts women in an untenable position. If they don't answer yes, then they're a bad mother.
I think I'm overcoming my Jared Padalecki dislike. I enjoyed the pilot of Supernatural, though it was a little confusing with the other being Dean, and Jared being Sam and going out with Jess. When Sam hit the Woman in White, mum said, "You don't have to stop. You just run her over and pick her up." I have this half-baked theory that Jess was killed in order to get Sam back in the hunt, whatever did it didn't want him being settled down in something else. Which makes me wonder whether their father was involved in hunting before he got married/had the kids.
Bloody Amazon. Since they've been postmarked as coming from Germany I've been having problems. They refunded me part of the cost when the package arrived with the books loose (and hence damaged). I had a box arrive today where the tape to close the top had gone off on a diagonal. So only about a fifth of the lid was actually taped closed. Luckily my Seaquest dvds are okay, but someone could have easily taken something out, or put something in. I'll have to email them again.
Talking about seaQuest, I watched my guilty pleasure episode, seaWest. Yes, it's all about Stacy Haiduk. Anyways, I was having difficulty watching David McCallum at times, especially when he talked about his mother and I was picturing Ducky and his mother. I also liked this episode because of Krieg worrying about her, and I noticed that when he mentioned about her only singing in the shower, Ford laughed. I've always had a bit of a thing for Hitchcock/Ford, so I'm taking that as an indication he may've heard her ;) If I could find the book I've got on the show, I'm sure either Stacy or Don Franklin said that they felt that their characters had an affair but decided to just stay friends.
