A double drabble for you. I apologise for any errors or if it sucks, I only just finished it. I had CJ/Danny in mind, but it also works for a certain GA couple :)

You wake up alone in your bed and stare at the clock, a little puzzled by the relative lateness of the hour.
You start to rise before spying a note on his pillow, which reads, ‘Stay where you are,’ framed by multi-coloured scribbles.
You smile and place it on the bedside table, where you find another note next to your cell-phone. ‘Text me when you wake.’
You do so, before plumping up the pillows and settling back. A few minutes later you hear running feet and an excited high-pitched voice, overlaid by a deeper, “Shhh”.
The door opens and a small body launches at you, shouting, “Happy Birthday, Momma!”
You’re immersed in a haze of red hair and purple daisies, and laugh as he picks her up, with a playful, “What have I told you about suffocating your mother”. He settles her between you, and steals a quick kiss.
“Are those for me?” you ask, putting your hands out for the flowers. “They’re so beautiful. Did you choose them?”
She nods, launching into a running commentary on the morning’s outing, until he reminds her that there are cards and presents and breakfast in bed.
But they are your true gift.
