I had Toobs today. And they were delicious.

I haven't had Toobs in over 10 years (apparently they went off the market in 98, and I think it was at least a few years before that). I've missed them and often wondered what happened. And then my brother said Smith Chips had brought them back, and I saw them somewhere, and then today at work I went to the chip machine, and there they were! I squealed.

Yummy! Hope they're around for more than a limited time (though only a 35g bag), I think I'm going to be spending some money :)

Going to physio tomorrow. Had a twinge in my hip, threatening spasm, at work. While it's settled tonight, think it's best I get loosened up before it goes into full spasm.

You're going to have to retire from the kick-boxing circuit! Hope you are feeling better.

Not sure what Toobs are since we don't have them Stateside as far as I know... but I did have to tell mention that last month I happened to run across a little bag of "Funyuns" at the grocery store and bought it. LOL
You know just had to open them up and have a couple to remind me of that Pretender scene with Broots at the vending machine, where Brigette slow and sexy like feeds one to him saying, "You've got company now, Mr Broots." *giggle*

What are... Toobs? Did I miss a wonderful adventurous snack in my 15 year absence from Australia?

I think you did, though haven't been available for the last few years.

They're shaped like cheezels (but different consistency), but taste more like a cross between bbq chips and burger rings. They're tangy. They're in the vending machine in the cafeteria.

Had another packet on Friday :)

Check vending machines, convenience stores, possibly Woolies...
