I give up.
Even though that job only went up on Friday and there was no listing on when applications would close, it's already been closed.
Fuck! I was trying to take a little more time to do a good application and I stuffed it.
I'm not meant to have a job.

{{hugs}} Hon, don't give up! It's very possible they already had someone in mind and finally convinced the boss that they had the person they wanted. It happens quite often, I find.

Thank you.
Or they just took the first person who applied.

*hugs* Keep on thinking positive *sending positive thoughts your way*

Thank you, Hon.

Grrr!!

Well, you can't blame yourself for trying to do things properly - you couldn't have known when it would close. Bastards.

<lj user="pixiesio" is probably right, they probably already had someone in mind, and only put it up because they "had to". Don't give up!! *hugs*

THey seem to be a small private company, and as far as I know they don't have to put out job ads like bigger and public places do.
THey may've just taken the first person.
If I'd done it on the weekend maybe I'd have had a chance.

Naaa, don't be so hard on yourself. You couldn't really have turned it in on a weekend anyway - most companies don't work.

:-p

But then it would've been in there yesterday (Monday).

It's *still* not your fault. :-p You couldn't have known when it ended if they didn't post it. It was irresponsible of them.

They're evil.

BTW. My father saw your Christmas card today, and instructed me to tell you I'm coming down to visit for three weeks. ;)

No, it's my own fault. I shouldn't have procrastinated over the weekend. And I shouldn't have got excited. I only end up being disappointed.
