My mother is...
...a total nut.
Dad bought a walking stick to help with his balance while walking, and mum was just walking around with it and said, "Who am I? House!" And then she said she'd forgotten something and walked back across the room pretending to pop pills.
Her other trick is heavy breathing/wheezing when the wheels on the ironing board squeak, aka Raines (The Pretender).
